The ELITE STOVE FAN is a heat powered fan designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove operating with normal surface temperatures of between 50°C and 340°C. The optimal running temperature of the wood-stove ELITE STOVE FAN is the same as the recommended safe operating temperature for wood-stoves of between 80°C and 250°C. The STOVE-FAN generates its own electricity – so no need for batteries or mains power. Charming design: 190mm high to fit all spaces. New high efficiency blade design. As the stove burns down and cools, the ELITE STOVE FAN automatically shuts off.INSTALLATION The stove fan should be placed adjacent and slightly behind the flue pipe. Never place the stove fan in front of the flue pipe or at the front of the stove. The stove fan requires the cooler air flow from behind the stove to generate its own thermoelectricity. The stove fan should only be used with free standing stoves and is not suitable for other types of fireplaces including inset stoves. The stove fan should only be used with the base placed on the stove and not hung by the handle. SAFETY This stove fan will get extremely hot during operation. Never touch any part of the fan during operation. Only use the handle to remove/reposition the fan during operation and even then a stove glove must be used. Make sure the stove fan is never placed on an unprotected surface until it has completely cooled down. Children should be supervised when the stove fan is in use.
